Online Masterclass - Dru Power- Wednesday 3 June 2020

3 June, 2020
(Registration open till December 2025)

Time to get fit for summer with this dynamic blend of Dru Yoga, Pilates and fitness movements!

Join Christiane and her team as she takes you through a dynamic class to bring your body alive and build up physical strength as well as your inner power. A strong body brings strong health & inner stability. Emotionally we become more resilient and the mind becomes more focused. Awareness in movement brings focus to the mind.

Movement releases endorphins which bring an experience of joy. Like children playing- they are happy and in the present moment. When we move we automatically bring the biochemistry of our body into a joyful place.

In this class we will take you through:

• Dynamic movements for cardio-vascular health

• Movements which strengthen your core and train your stabilising muscles.
Training the right muscle groups can help you better your performance- whether you’re a runner, a yoga practitioner or an athlete in any sport

• Power breathing to align body and mind

• Deep relaxation to de-stress and rejuvenate

This masterclass requires a reasonable level of fitness. It is a more physical class than your ordinary Dru Yoga class. Please feel free to invite any of your friends or family that you think might be interested.

Live 1 hour masterclass & access to recordings.

Price: £20
(£10 for DPN & Dru Yoga Online Studio members)

As a qualified Dru Yoga teacher, I thought I had a good understanding of asana and the koshas - which of course I did, but the APD course has taken that level of understanding and more importantly my personal experience of my yoga practice to a different level.

The course took me on a journey through the koshas in a way that not only increased my awareness of how I experience asana but also how to use asana to reshape my experience.  With the support and guidance of the tutors, I was able to revisit the asana I previously avoided which has contributed to my body being stronger and more flexible than at any time since my twenties - and I now love to practise those asanas.

Emotionally, it has helped me process difficult emotions such as grief and shown the way to change self-limiting beliefs.  For me, the real gift of the course was the tutorials which became the foundation for building a supportive sangha of wonderful yogis which continues to exist.  It was during these sessions of deep personal sharing that our fantastic tutors were able to share further their incredible wisdom and answer the many questions that inevitably spring forth in any process of swadhyaya - I highly recommend this course!

Thanks so much for such a wonderful weekend. I really enjoyed connecting with you all again.

I know a lot about the topics discussed but hearing them spoken about with such passion by a group of experts really helped to clarify a number of points I was not completely sure about. I found it very motivating and gave me a greater understanding of why I need to do certain practices. I do most of the practices already so I don't really need to add anything. I would like to know more about the herbs that might be useful for me specifically but I would need a personal consultation for that.

Thank you for such an information packed and motivating weekend. I am looking forward to looking all the materials in the course.
