Live Dru Yoga class - Asanas to awaken your spine

8 April, 2021
(Registration open till December 2025)

The spine is a living structure which supports our whole nervous system. Therefore it's absolutely crucial to keep it healthy and moving in an optimum way. This affects the wellbeing of your whole body as well as your energy levels.

From a yogic point of view all the main energy centres (chakras) are seated along the spine. These centres reflect different areas of our consciousness, thus the condition of our spine can have a huge influence into the way we feel and think. This affects how we relate to life!

So it's worth spending a little time to nurture our "backbone" which holds us upright and supports us in everything we do.

If you are a member of the Dru Professional Network you will be able to accrue 1 CPD hour for attendance at this class. Attendees from other yoga schools will need to check individually for their own CPD credits.

We look forward to sharing this class with you.

Price: £8

I enjoyed the whole experience of the Karma Yoga retreat. Great programme for volunteers. I felt appreciated for work done. Felt that everyone worked as a team. Teachers on yoga retreat were great teachers.

The venue is stunning. I felt refreshed and inspired to come again to Karma Yoga retreat in near future. I am considering going on Foundation course and possibly teacher training course

What I'll take from today's yoga postgrad workshop:- Underpinning the true purpose of yoga - to develop a relationship with the Self that exists deeply within.  Loved the relaxations, especially 'Waves of Peace'. The pancha koshas provide us with a road map for better understanding of our psychological and spiritual development.
